I wouldn’t resist posting these pictures. While they aren’t the greatest technically, the sunglasses on daughter number 4 make me laugh! And how can you NOT pass along a laugh?
I am embarrassed to admit it, but this was my very first visit to Victoria Park in Truro.
What can I say but beautiful. (And that it won’t be my last visit..!)
We enjoyed our weekend visit with some of our PEI family.
Brian and Abbie were busy with Beaver’s activities, and Ray and Sarah had to work. It was David’s turn to pick where we went today, and he chose Peggy’s Cove.
There was a costumed bagpiper on site, and when I asked them to stand still so I could take a picture, they decided a highland fling was in order.
It was a magnificent day. (Funny thing though, despite the sun shining brightly,there were a few moons in sight.

October has been beautiful and warm. We took advantage of the nice weather and went to the valley for the day. While there we picked out some pumpkins and then visited the Willowbank U-pick Farm where Abbie enjoyed the petting zoo and hay rides before we went to the orchard where we had fun picking apples.
Just up the road is another historical house that is part of the group of 27 Nova Scotia Museums. Prescott House, to our disappointment had closed for the season just the day before. We did get to take a walk around the house and beautiful garden, and what luck, there was the perfect climbing tree!
