Sneak peek from a mini-session last weekend.
July 10
Most mornings a moose comes to the bank of the river for a drink and her morning snack of leaves and grass.
Abbie has named her Bamba, (I have no idea why – ) and waits on the porch each day for her daily visit.
We went for a “fishing-hike” today.
A fishing-hike is a walk that you go on and at the end of the hike, Daddy gets to go fishing.
On the way Abbie found a wonderful place to have go swimming.
We hadn’t brought her bathing suit with us.
Good job Daddy had his fishing rod.
(He didn’t get to go fishing, but it sure came in handy.)
Her new pastime at the camp is to search for fossils.
It is a very serious work and her furry supervisor is always watching to make sure she is doing a good job.
Today, she found some dinosaur teeth, some antlers and a dinosaur egg.
She loves to wear dresses, but hates to brush her hair.
Talks non-stop and sings when she is not talking…
(Unless she is eating which she does constantly.)
And dance – she thinks she is the best dancer that ever was! (Please don’t tell her otherwise.)
– And the music that she dances to is the purest song ever heard;
Her own perfect little heart song that bubbles like a spring from the depts of her little being.
My little Abbie is the epitimy of childhood innocence! These pictures are beautiful W!:)
