I tried to get a serious picture, but they couldn’t stop smiling….. 🙂
Little Leo was definitely the star of the show on his big day.
He was baptized in the beautiful church where his great grandmother went as a child, where his grand parents were married and where so many of his family still attend.
Following Leo’s baptism his proud Mommy and Daddy invited everyone to a dinner in his honour and his Nanny made a delicious cake for the dessert.
The strong winds proved to be too much for such a little boy, so the beach pictures we had planned at the end of the day weren’t possible, but I did manage to snap a few outside the restaurant as everyone was leaving.
It was a wonderful day.
I have so much to be thankful for. Wishing you and yours a wonderful holiday.
(Some fall colors from yesterday at the wonderful Tangled Garden in Wolfville. -My favourite garden of all time.)
From today.
It’s rare he lets me near him with my camera, but the blond hair that he wore all summer was coming off today.
I talked him into letting me take this as a remembrance of his blonde days.
(I’ll take any excuse I can get.)
Beautiful Wendy!
