I got to visit two princesses this past weekend.
They are as sweet as they are beautiful.
How lucky am I?

The Watson’s moved to Whitehorse last year and while they love their new home and all the new adventures they are finding in the beautiful north, their hearts still call Halifax home. On this their first trip back to the east coast, they wanted to mark their visit by having family photos taken by the landmarks they love and miss. Despite the cold weather and a lot of freshly fallen snow they braved the freezing temperatures and met me on the their last afternoon in Nova Scotia. Military roots run deep in this family and it was only fitting that they chose these backdrops to document the history of this wonderful family.
On the first full day of winter, the darkest day of the year, this wee ray of light came to visit me.
He brightened my studio and lit up the bleakness of the colourless wood behind my house.
While just a week old, he already has the sweetest personality and even showed me a few of his adorable smiles.
His big brother, who is just a year old, is full of wonder at this new little person who has come to live at his house.
And his mama (and nanny who came with them) are madly in love with their wee miracle.
Isn’t this the cutest little pilot you have ever seen?
I think he may have had doubts about our wonderful idea
but 11 month old Owen played the part perfectly.
Thank you! He’s so very adorable 🙂
These are so precious, Wendy! I love them all!!! but the second last one made me laugh out loud.
Thanks so much Dominique.
Absolutely beautiful! I love them all. Especially the ones with Nanny!
