Once Upon a Dream

Just your average evening stroll in the forest ;).

I’ve had a lot of questions lately about my images; where I find my locations ( lots of walking and searching 😉 ) editing times ( why I’m slow ..lol) and the amount of photoshop I do  on each image ( sometime with studio shots-barely any, and sometimes I do a fair bit when I feel it would make an image better).  I guess what it comes down to is what my vision of an image is and what I can find in nature for a backdrop.  With the above photograph of this gorgeous mama, you can see that I barely touched her, -but did a fair bit of editing to the background.  I haven’t really changed the dynamics of the composition but cleaned it up and removed anything I felt to be distracting or unsightly.  My goal is to provide my clients with a beautiful photograph that they will cherish forever and (if I’ve done it right) not look overly photoshopped and edited.
