There are some moments that you know they will remember for the rest of their lives.
We have some very nice friends who own a beautiful property with not one but seven ponds on it.
One of which is just the right size for a skating rink.
The warm spell we had this week melted all the snow we had on the ground, but it wasn’t enough to completely melt the ice on the pond,
So when the cold weather returned, the ice hardened into a perfect sheet of glass.
Earlier in the day, the men cut some wood for a bonfire.
We arrived at dusk, just at the last light of the day disappeared from the sky.
The night was crisp and cold, but there was no wind and the stars shone brightly in the still sky.
The fire warmed warmed our toes and we roasted hotdogs and marshmallows as the laughter from a magical evening filled the air.
Thanks ever so much Max and Clara for such a wonderful night!
